Beyond Roads is a speculative camping magazine designed for those who like to go out into the wilderness and explore. The article in question was about the changing of seasons and what to be aware as the seasons changed.
The logo was designed to be bold like the people who hike out in nature with the letter A in "roads" representing the mountains they climb and the forests they walk through.
The Crystal Goblet

The crystal goblet borrows a section from an article of the same name by Beatrice Warde. The article is about how good design should be clear and almost invisible to the eye, merely serving as guidance to what the designer wants the viewer to see.
For this spread, I focused on creating a design that worked to help the story flow and keep the reader engaged as they read the article
